Fostering Equity and Inclusion for Latinas/os in Child and Family Welfare
Fostering Equity and Inclusion for Latinas/os in Child and Family Welfare brings together an interdisciplinary team of academicians, community organizers, elected officials, community-based organizations, and families with lived experience to provide leadership in the identification of targeted solutions to systemic problems affecting the Latino family at varying points across the child welfare continuum.
Edward Caisse, our prominent keynote speaker, will open the conference with the opening address titled Belief, Support and a Call to Action. He will speak about his personal beliefs and what drives him to do the community work. He will touch on the challenges in our local communities and the support families need to be successful.
