Description: The increasing frequency of climate catastrophes is bringing home the reality that climate change is real, and can be deadly—and can make us wonder, “Is it too late?” This workshop will take this question head on: ‘ Yes’, it is an emergency, ‘No’, it’s not too late— because the emergency is not over—the outcome is not decided! It is a moment of both great peril—and great promise. We will look at how we can find our footing in this time of great uncertainty. We will learn how we can keep our eyes on what is possible and not be overwhelmed by what may seem almost inevitable. This two session participatory workshop will explore practical tools and new understandings that help us keep our feet on the ground and our minds and hearts open to the possibilities emerging in this time of great change. We will learn to find joy in the moment and hope and courage in facing the future. Prepare to be challenged, have fun, and emerge energized!
