Description: Celebrate the arrival of spring by observing and enjoying the debut of returning birds, blooming wild flowers, leafing trees, insects and amphibians coming out of hibernation.

Directions: We will meet at the tennis courts in Stanley Park across from the Westfield College Woodward Center. Consider bringing some water and a snack.

Instructor biography: Dr. Dietrich Schlobohm is a Professor Emeritus from Springfield College where He has taught for 36 years. He holds a Ph D. in American History from Michigan State University. Dr. Schlobohms area of specialization is the Environmental History of America. He is also a nature educator with a lot of experience working with children at Arcadia Wildlife Sanctuary and leading nature walks in West Springfield.
